Bulgartransgaz EAD in its capacity of owner and operator of Chiren UGS storage facility announces Chiren UGS natural gas storage capacity allocation procedure for gas year 2016-2017.
To take part in the allocation procedure, potential clients must submit Storage Capacity Application. Application Standard Form can be found here
Information on available Chiren UGS storage capacity that can be applied for injection and withdrawal broken in gas months can be found here
Injection period for the forthcoming 2016-2017 gas year concerning the implementation of storage commercial contracts will start on 1 May 2016. The start of injection based on commercial storage capacity is in line with Quantities Injection Schedule according to the Emergency Plan.
Application can be submitted from 8:00 am (local Sofia time) on 7 April 2016 by 5:00 pm (local Sofia time) on 21 April 2016 at Bulgartransgaz EAD Registry Office by registered mail or courier service to:

The applications submission procedure, the requirements to potential clients and the principles and capacity allocation methodology are laid down in the Rules for Access to Chiren UGS in force at the moment of application submission. The Rules are available here
We would like to draw the attention of all interested parties that by virtue of a decision of Bulgartransgaz EAD Management Board changes in the existing Rules for Access to Chiren UGS have been introduced, in particular in Section 5 that are in line with the provisions of item 3.5 of the Emergency Plan to be enforced when allocating storage capacity in Chiren UGS in the forthcoming 2016-2017 gas year.
