On 19 October 2011 the executive director of Bulgartransgaz EAD Mr. Kiril Temelkov, in the presence of prof. Dr. Ivan Milev, representatives of the academic community and students, unveiled the refurbished and freshly equipped room in Department drilling for Oil and Gas within the faculty Geological research at University of Mining and Geology “St. Ivan Rilski”, the higher education institution training engineers in geological, mining and electro-mechanic subjects. The hall’s name is “Bulgartransgaz” and has been renovated with sources supplied from the same Company. Special thanks to the Company expressed associate prof. Dr. Georgi Nikolov on behalf of the Department.
The event was combined with observing the patron’s university celebration at the presence of many guests, industry representatives from all around the country, students and faculty. The ceremony commemorating university’s patron was attended by the Minister of Education, Youth and Science Sergey Ignatov and Minister of Transport, IT and Communications Ivaylo Moskovski.
For Bulgartransgaz EAD as a Company looking ahead in time, care of the future professionals is a subject of responsibility. In that context the Company fulfills its obligation under the signed agreement with the University for Cooperation, matter of which is the gift made for the repair and newly equipment of the academic hall, aiming at supporting and assistance of the young engineers.
