Implementing the European and national legal requirements in line with the good practices of the European gas market and its transparency policy, Bulgartransgaz EAD launched public consultations on its third draft of the 2015 – 2024 Ten Year Network Development Plan.
The TYNDP includes Bulgartransgaz EAD activities foreseen to be carried out in the next ten years to guarantee the security of supplies, the readiness of the gas transmission system to meet the expected natural gas supply and demand in the region as well as the diversification of natural gas supply sources and routes.
By 20 April 2015 all stakeholders can send their proposals and comments to the TYNDP to the official electronic address info@bulgartransgaz.bg.
Following the review and assessment of their relevance and contribution to achieving sustainable development, they will be taken into account in the finalization of the draft. After the finalization, the document will be filed for approval by the Energy and Water Regulatory Commission (EWRC).
TYNDPs are developed by gas transmission operators on the territory of the European Union in line with article 22 of Directive 2009/73 (EC). Bulgartransgaz EAD developed its TYNDP in accordance with the provisions of article 81d, paragraph 1 of the Energy Act (EA).
