During the last twenty four hours was registered for reduction of Russian natural gas supplies to the countries from the Balkan region.

At the moment the supplies have been normalized, as for Bulgaria as well in regard to the cross border transmission via the country to Turkey, Greece and Macedonia. Since this morning the pressure at the entry point of the national gas transmission system has been restored within the contracted levels. Bulgaria receives its contract volumes of natural gas according with the nominated quantities.

The operational headquarter with the Ministry of Economy, Energy and Tourism will continue to monitor the situation, aiming to ensure the security of natural gas supplies in the country and the cross border transmission of natural gas via the territory of Bulgaria.
