Implementing the European and national regulatory requirements in line with the good practices of the European gas market and its transparency policy, Bulgartransgaz EAD launches public consultations on the draft of the 2016 – 2025 Ten Year Network Development Plan.
The TYNDP presents Bulgartransgaz EAD activities foreseen to be carried out in the next ten years to guarantee the security of supplies, the readiness of the gas transmission system to meet the expected future natural gas supply and demand of natural gas in the region as well as the diversification of natural gas supply sources and routes.
Bulgartransgaz EAD hereby invites all interested parties to take part in the public consultation and submit their proposals and comments to the TYNDP at: info@bulgartransgaz.bg by 18 April 2016.
Following the public consultation and taking into consideration the feedback, Bulgartransgaz EAD 2016 – 2025 TYNDP will be submitted to the Energy and Water Regulatory Commission (EWRC) for approval.
TYNDPs are developed by gas transmission operators on the territory of the European Union in line with article 22 of Directive 2009/73 (EC). Bulgartransgaz EAD developed its TYNDP in accordance with the provisions of article 81d, paragraph 1 of the Energy Act (EA).
