In compliance with the requirements of the European and Bulgarian legislation, in line with the best European practices and its policy for transparency and non-discrimination, Bulgartransgaz EAD opens a public consultation on the draft Ten-Year Network Development Plan of the company for the period 2023 – 2032.
The plan presents Bulgartransgaz EAD’s activities envisaged for implementation over the next ten years which aim to ensure the security of gas supply, the readiness of the gas transmission system to meet the expected future natural gas supply and demand levels in the region, as well as to diversification of the natural gas supply sources and routes. There is also information on the company's future investments required to ensure the reliable provision of the licensed activities for natural gas transmission and storage, as well as to implement the commitments made for the modernization and development of the gas transmission network.
The plan also includes Bulgartransgaz EAD's hydrogen projects, taking into account European policies and priorities in the field of hydrogen energy.
Bulgartransgaz EAD invites all interested parties to participate in the announced public consultation by sending their opinions, proposals and comments on the TYNDP to the following e-mail address info@bulgartransgaz.bg by and including 30 April, 2023.
Following the public consultation, the Ten-Year Network Development Plan of Bulgartransgaz EAD for the period 2023-2032 will be submitted for approval by the Energy and Water Regulatory Commission (EWRC) within the statutory deadline.
